EVENT: Negotiation Process and Terms

AUDIENCE: Intended for partners who have received their Faculty Retention and Exit Report.
SESSION: Once faculty pursue and receive an outside offer, institutions have a narrow window of opportunity to negotiate a counteroffer. This workshop will explore how faculty perceive the process and terms offered during the negotiation process. Who received (and did not receive) a counteroffer? What were the contractual terms most important to retained faculty? The session will also examine faculty perceptions regarding how they were treated during the negotiation and the transition for faculty who left the university.
