For the last decade, faculty at Florida International University (FIU) have spearheaded an interdisciplinary, grassroots effort to improve recruitment, tenure, and promotion processes for women and faculty of color. This AAC&U case study showcases the work of FIU's Office to Advance Women, Equity, & Diversity (AWED), and discusses how they used Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey results across multiple years to identify areas of opportunity, guide policy and programmatic changes, and track the impact of their efforts.
