2022 COACHE Strategy Workshop

Date:

Thu - Fri, Aug 4 to Aug 5, 8:00am - 1:30pm

Location:

Cambridge, MA

COACHE research partners, who have their survey results in hand, are invited to spend two days at Harvard with our team for guided discussions on survey results and strategies for deploying the findings. During our workshop, participants will do a deep dive into their results and identify priorities. They will also learn how to tap into other institutional data sources that complement their reporting. Partners will have dedicated time to create, map, and share with their peers a communication plan to meet the needs of their institutional leadership and faculty. There is no fee to participate, but only representatives (individually or in teams) of partner institutions may attend.

*Registration now closed

Additional Information:

Travel and Accommodations:  There is no cost for participation in the Strategy Workshop. However, partners must cover the cost of their travel, lodging, and some meals. For hotels in the Harvard Square area, visit the HGSE accommodations page. COACHE does not block rooms for the Strategy Workshop.

Covid Precautions:  We ask that you please review Coronavirus: HGSE Looks Forward. This webpage includes the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) most current COVID policies. For easy reference, please find our policies regarding testing and masking below. (as of June 16, 2022)[1]

Pre-workshop Testing and Attestation:   HGSE requires that visitors complete an HGSE Clear attestation that you have received a negative result from a COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within one day of your workshop start time (or have been symptom-free for at least 10 days if you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 90 days). Upon completion of the attestation, you will receive a green checkmark to show at workshop registration – you do not need to send anything in advance. If you arrive at your workshop registration and have not been tested within the previous day, COACHE will provide a rapid antigen test for your use. Proof of vaccination is not required by HGSE, however, some private businesses in the area are still requesting proof of vaccination. We recommend taking a photo of your vaccination information in case you would like to access these venues.

Optional Indoor Masking:  With limited exceptions, face coverings on campus are optional in all indoor spaces on Harvard’s campuses. If you feel the need to continue wearing a mask for your protection, you should do so. The decision to wear a mask in settings where it is not required is a personal one and no one should be made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or marginalized because they choose to wear a face covering.

Please take note of the following situations in which masks are still required:

  • For individuals completing isolation or quarantine
  • Healthcare facilities

Additional instances of required masking may arise. For that reason, we recommend that everyone carry a mask with them when on campus. COACHE will have masks available if needed.

We thank you again for your careful attention to our visitor policy as we continue to take the steps necessary to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community.

[1]COACHE is regularly monitoring the campus and Cambridge community COVID situations. Should any changes occur between now and the Strategy Workshop, our team will notify you of those changes.
