COACHE research partners, who have their survey results in hand, are invited to spend two days at Harvard with our team for guided discussions on survey results and strategies for deploying the findings. During our workshop, participants will do a deep dive into their results and identify priorities. They will also learn how to tap into other institutional data sources that complement their reporting. Partners will have dedicated time to create, map, and share with their peers a communication plan to meet the needs of their institutional leadership and faculty. There is no fee to participate, but only representatives (individually or in teams) of partner institutions may attend.

The results of Ursinus College’s 2020 Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey prompted a conversation about the fulfillment and satisfaction of faculty in long-term, non-tenure-track positions. In spring 2020, we added three COVID-19-related questions to the survey to capture the early effects of the pandemic.
In this webinar, Doctoral Fellow, Mai H. Vang, presents findings from the responses to those questions, which captured nine themes, including disruption of research, disconnection due to remote work, and inequities in...
COACHE's Executive Director and Principal Investigator, Kiernan Mathews, will be joining the Chronicle of Higher Education and a panel of higher education leaders to discuss faculty well-being right now. Seventy percent of tenured faculty say their work-life balance has decreased in 2020, and workload increases have been particularly acute for female faculty.
